Due to our clients’ requirements and timeframes, only candidates with eligibility to work in New Zealand will be considered for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repair across commercial buildings and facilities
- Install and maintain lightning systems, switchboards, distribution boards, cable tray systems, and power circuits
- Conduct fault finding, diagnostics, and troubleshooting on commercial electrical systems
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and specifications to ensure accurate installation and compliance
- Carry out testing, inspections and commissioning in accordance with New Zealand safety and electrical standards
Requirements:
- Current New Zealand Electrical Registration with a valid EWRB Practising License
- A 3+ years experienced in commercial electrical installation, maintenance, and fault finding
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and regulations
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
- Strong communication skills and a customer service-oriented attitude
- Own tools and reliable transportation preferred
